I brought my sorrows
To the beach
Wrote it down in the sand
Poems
Morning's light
When you've hit rock bottom
There is nowhere to go
But gather your strength
And let yourself grow
Keep going
I'm running on custard
Need a minimal speed
To keep me from sinking
Don't always succeed
Close call
I had just shifted lanes
When that thing came crashing down
If I'd still been there
It would've been my crown
House of Worship
You used to be a beacon
The center of the town
A holy place for worship
But attendance has gone down
Doves
A group of doves
Sat by a tree
Picking at food
Not noticing me
Fatherhood
You left your home behind you
And with that your whole life
You asked for your inheritance
He gave it without strife
The beach
Let's play with the wind
And let up a kite
Give it some slack
A wonderful flight
Black widow
They took away your husband
Shot him in the back
Now it's your time for vengeance
While wearing mourning black
Tear
A sign of raw emotion
Flowing down my face
A glitch in my appearance
Cause it's the only trace
