There once was a bear
A long time ago
He disliked his hair
So he let it grow
Poems
Woodwork
The smell of sawdust in my nose
My hands are dry and rough
I worked again with wood today
And couldn't get enough
Green Christmas
So this was Christmas
And again it was green
All over the country
No snow to be seen
Stolen sleep
Was drifting slowly
To the land of dreams
When my sleep was stolen away
Heroes of the sky
There are heroes flying daily
But you probably don't know
The heroes of the sky
They're not just there for show
An offer for all
This day we remember
Or some of us do
The birth of our saviour
He came for you too
Status quo
Leisure, pleasure, money, gold
The greatest story ever told
Consumerism going wild
On the back of a slave child
I do
You can get to know your Father
Who gave His life for you
Be with Him for all eternity
By saying: Yes I do
Restoration
The consistent pace of time
Drives us every day
Because our time is limited
No matter what we say
Hidden in a poem
Writing things on paper
Expressing thoughts and feels
The playground of a poet
The layers it reveals
