I'm a poet who can't read
Without stumbling all the time
Over hard or simple phrases
Thereby messing up the rhyme
I'm a poet who can't read
His poems flawless aloud
My poems are like the sunlight
My speech is like a cloud
I'm a poet who can't read
Though I know the alphabet
Cause words sometimes start dancing
Then a mumble is all you get
I'm a poet who can't read
When I speak the written words
Cause when I do my best
I only nail two-thirds
